Yeah,—I’ve done a crap job of posting updates that relate to this site. Even now, when I have so much I can report, I truly just don’t have the time to go into details.
Finally registering dahrqbru.com is significant enough that I had to make note of the occasion.
The inspiration to tinker with this site’s WordPress theme came out of nowhere, really. I’ve had random thoughts relating to the design at odd moments over the months, but I never felt particularly compelled to start nipping and tucking the code until this weekend.

Large image and audio files, video captures, motion graphic compositions, and desktop recordings quickly gobble up free storage space. As I’ve been imagining new and exciting ways to throw the kitchen sink into this little “superhobby” experiment and related plots connected to my pathway to becoming a “YouTuber,” I’ve also been considering the ramifications of recording live-streams,—on YouTube, Twitch, and Streamlabs OBS, etc.—in regards to my practical, day-to-day storage needs.

I’ve spent a good amount of time learning Final Cut Pro X, but I’ve really only scratched the surface. I need to invest some butt-in-chair time on this.
After shooting a few more test shots yesterday afternoon, I headed to JoAnn Fabrics to buy a few yards of cheap liner, which I can use as diffusion material. White sheets, shower curtains, pieces of paper—inexpensive lighting modifiers are readily available, and the results they produce can be pretty amazing.
